The USTH was created through an intergovernmental agreement between the Minister of Higher Education (France) and the Minister of Education and Training (Vietnam).
The USTH aims to be a centre of research and teaching excellence and to create dynamic synergies between research
and teaching by strengthening university-industry linkages in the fields of science and technology fields and new models of private-public partnership in higher education/research institutions.
VINAGANDA Ltd was commissioned to design branding and a website for this exciting venture.
We developed a strong visual identity through a logo that embodied the location of the institution (Hanoi), the political context of its creation (French and Vietnamese cooperation), the linkages between research and teaching and the importance of indigenously-based learning in Vietnam. Demarcating the institution from potential foreign competitors was also key in our logo design process.
For USTH we developed a temporary website (in under two weeks) dedicated to marketing and promotion of the institution and with a special focus on registration.
